Walk or cycle through the woods or along the byways and see the vibrant autumn colours. An opportunity to spy a pheasant crossing the road or perhaps a deer or wild pig grazing in amongst the trees or edges of the mown fields.
“It's often said, but rarely actual, that one is treated like a member of the family at a B&B. With David and Winnifred at Cherry House, it is really so. We stayed for two days and wish it had been longer, and came away feeling we had stepped into the life of this small village, Polinago, for a short time. David went out of his way to show us the area, and arranged for the car-fanatic in our family to have 30 minutes behind the wheel of a Ferrari, the factory of which is close to Polinago. This is a beautiful part of Italy in the Apennines, and we will be returning.”
